What is PFM?

Porcelain-fused-to-metal dental restorations, often referred to as PFM crowns or bridges, represent a tried and tested solution in modern dentistry. These restorations seamlessly combine the strength of a metal substructure with the aesthetic appeal of porcelain. We first create a metal framework, typically using materials like nickel-chromium or gold alloy, to provide structural integrity. Then we layer porcelain on top, carefully shaping and shading it to match the patient's natural teeth. The result is a restoration that not only offers durability and stability but also an incredibly natural appearance. PFM restorations have been a staple in dentistry for decades, providing a reliable option for cases where both strength and aesthetics are essential, ensuring that patients can enjoy a beautiful smile while maintaining the functionality and health of their teeth. We produce PFM restorations with the alloy of your choice
